Non-woven fabric:

Polymer polypropylene is extruded from the spinning hole after high-temperature melting, becoming thinner and longer under the stretching action of air, and is prepared into a mesh after cooling. It has characteristics such as high strength, wear resistance, and good hand feel. The biggest feature of adhesive non-woven fabric is that the fibers in the fiber network are continuous filaments. Compared with other non-woven fabric products of the same weight, it has high strength and similar performance in both longitudinal and transverse directions, but its network uniformity and surface coverage are relatively poor. It is a new generation of environmentally friendly materials, with characteristics such as moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, lightweight, non-flammable, easy to decompose, non-toxic and non-irritating, rich in color, low cost, and recyclable.

Non-woven fabric agricultural applications:

With the development of the agricultural industry in our country, in recent years, in order to improve agricultural yield and quality, the use of agricultural films has been increasing year by year. Most agricultural films are made from polyethylene or other synthetic polymers, which have high molecular weight, stable performance, and are difficult to degrade. Although they can provide agricultural yield and quality during use, the film fragments left in the fields after use are difficult to degrade and recycle, which can cause serious pollution to the land. Over time, this will severely reduce the permeability of the soil, cause land compaction, and greatly hinder the growth of crops, ultimately affecting crop yield.

Non-woven fabric, due to its similar performance to agricultural films and its degradable properties, can replace polyethylene films and is gradually being applied in agricultural covering.

In agricultural applications, the width of non-woven fabric available on the market is generally limited to 3.2 meters. Due to the wide agricultural areas, there are often issues with insufficient width of non-woven fabric during the covering process.

Therefore, our company has conducted analysis and research on this issue, innovating technology to develop a non-woven fabric ultra-wide splicing machine, which splices the edges of non-woven fabric. After splicing, the width of the non-woven fabric can reach several meters. For example, a 3.2-meter non-woven fabric can be spliced in five layers to obtain a 16-meter wide non-woven fabric, and splicing in ten layers can reach 32 meters... Thus, the issue of insufficient width has been resolved through the edge splicing of non-woven fabric.
